Brady's sick :(

For those of you who have followed my blog for awhile know that I have two babies. With fur. Chihuahua fur :)

Brady and Chiva. Brady is 4 and Chiva is nearly 2 and they are my world. They are the sweetest, funniest Chi's ever ever and mean more to me than anything.

Chiva (girl) left and Brady (boy) right.

Brady has had issues the past year or so with blood in his urine, caused by bladder stones. He had surgery to remove these stones last August and has been doing well.

Unfortunately, his urine PH was still too high after follow up tests- and the vet was afraid there was a deeper issue at hand. Turns out he was right. Brady has a liver problem. What kind of liver problem? No one's sure. The vet says there's so much gray area in Brady's case and the issue can't be pinpointed.

Brady is now being referred to a doctor is Auburn, Ala. where they can do extensive ultra-sound or MRIs. I'm so scared and so worried. These two are like my children and are part of my family. For anyone who has dogs they love with all their heart and soul, you know exactly what I mean.

I don't know, #1, where I'm going to get the money for all of these additional tests and possible surgery, but I'm going to get it. Even if I have to sell every single stitch of clothing, furniture, house, car...I don't care. He's only 4 and deserves a chance to live a healthy, full life.

The saddest part? He still acts normal. I should be thankful for this, and I truly am, but it also scares me. I just wish I knew the liver issue and how to fix it. Right NOW. I'm so impatient.

Please, all, if you pray, pray for my sweet baby. Or send positive thoughts. Or just help out a local animal shelter or something kind. I'm emotionally drained and it'll only get worse for a little while.

Thanks, y'all :)

H&M call to action!

So, I was looking on the H&M website last night and there are a few items that I'm dying to get my hands on! of course, there is no H&M near me and us United States folk can't buy online. Ugh!!!

Are any of my sweet blogging friends willing to pick up a few things for me from their nearest H&M? The items are below......and of course, I'll gladly play for shipping and the items...unless you're feeling generous ;)

Please let me know if you'd be willing to go on a shopping outing for this poor blogger with no H&M :( hahaha Thanks! Leave a comment or e-mail me at jstripling9@gmail.com

Clothing space expansion!

WEE!!! Finally got the new rolling clothing rack put up- very easy to assemble!

This thing is making everything much more organized on the fashion front already.

Honestly, I could probably use two, but the little second bedroom just won't hold two AND my desk. Oh, well.

Behold....

I decided that this new rolling rack would be home to my blazers, suits, cardigans and tights/belts. I'm pleased. I still have TWO closets full (one for dresses and the other tops and pants), but this relieves some of the squished-ness that both closets were starting to become.

Shoes. Nuff said.

Shoes with no home- Need another rack!

Does anyone else find it hard to purge clothes and shoes? I honestly try, but I like everything I have! No, I don't wear a lot of it (mostly because it doesn't fit right now. Eek), but I know eventually I will. I just find that most of my pieces can be incorporated for years to come.

The big V-Day post!!

I had such a great day! Valentine's Day, no matter if you think it's a big commercialized hoopla or a time for being extra mushy with your lovah, just makes me feel happy inside. I love making candies for friends and going out to dinner with my ladies.

Here's what I wore to work and to post work sushi dinner. hahaha It's the SHADIEST, crap-tastic photo ever taken, but you get the idea. And I can't help but smile when I see my newest addition on my ankle :)

Here's the gang who had dinner tonight. Three of them are married/dating someone and us other three are the single-solo flyers. I don't care one bit that I'm single. I love being single every second of every day! :) I can do anything I damn well please and then some. WAHOO!!! I loved spending time with all my friends.....and Erin enjoyed her date- the bottle of wine. lol See below....

Happy Valentine's Day! I'm so tempted to go buy a shit ton of half-priced candy tomorrow....but I don't think Shaun T would like that.....

Grammy Digs 2012

I don't usually blog after awards shows about the attire that was worn, but I couldn't help but do it today. I loved a lot of what people were wearing! I'm only going to get into the ones who I thought looked awesome and will refrain from the people who looked hideous (i.e. Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry. Sorry. Blue hair and a blue dress is just ugly.)

Rihanna. My favorite! She's stunning, sexy and hot! Not only in her black dress, but her pant suit she wore to a pre-grammy party a few days earlier. I LOVE IT! I'd wear that junk right now if I had it! I posted the pant suit photo on my Facebook wall and the dudes didn't think it was as sexy as I did- that's great, because I don't dress for dudes :)

LOVED Jessi J's dress. fashion forward, yet classy.

Seriously? Carrie rarely EVER looks horrible.

Kelly Rowland's dress was feminine and really showed off her shape.

Not sure about his Victoria Secret model GF, but Adam Levine looked handsome and HOT as usual. Loved his suit. His GF, on the other hand, not a big fan. I feel like the dress was more beachy than Grammy.

I don't like Taylor Swift. Sorry. However, her dress was stunning and she wore it well. The back was my favorite. I just love open backs!

Any favorites on your "Best Dressed" list from last night?

Stupid Super Bowl

Highly pissed off doesn't cover how I felt last night. Yes, it's just a game and it's just Football, but The Patriots have been my team for as long as I can remember watching Football. Even when they SUCKED I was a fan (OK, so when they sucked I was 6 and didn't really remember, but who cares). I can't even look at Eli Manning's ugly, stupid face on TV this morning without wanting to punch it.

I went to bed mad, but then decided I wanted to watch The Voice- and that put me in a better mood, especially because a former Mouseketeer, Tony Lucca, was trying out on the show! Stupid Christina not only DIDN'T recognize him, she didn't even recognize his name until he was off the stage. Really? What a freak.

Not in the greatest of moods today, so I'm not going to blogging about beauty and/or fashion.

Also, I'm starting Insanity (again) today. That shit scares the hell out of me. If it didn't put my ass in great shape, I wouldn't put up with it. But it does, so I do.

Happy Monday.
