Rent The Runway? Yes, Please!!

Seriously. Best idea EVER.

Rent The Runway is something I just heard about- Have you? Or am I just oblivious? Whatever the case may be you should check this out if you've ever wanted to don a designer dress, but don't have the $500-1,000 bones to shell out for it.
The gist? Rent designer dresses, jewelry and other accesories- Wear them- Return them. It's as simple as that. Sign up here and read more about how it works. I love the idea! I have no upcoming events to try this out on, but I definitely will when that time comes.
It's awesome you can reserve a dress for a certain date.

From what I see, most dresses are $25 or $50 to rent, but can be about $250. Just depends what you're looking for. Also, if you rent ONE and rent a SECOND, the second is only $25 automatically. Pretty awesome, right?! Right.

Here are a few items I thought were particularly cute/chic:

I love lace. Period.

Epitome of elegant. So wish I had an excuse to wear this baby.

Pretty, fresh and chic.

Cute, flirty and I love that color blue.

I WANT this necklace. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE IT!

I'd be curious to hear if any of you decide to rent a dress- let me know!!

I've never rented before but I think it is a great idea, especially for a special occassion outfit. Men are so easy - they can just saunter into any mall and get some sort of formal rental - gals don't usually have an outlet except for those awful bridesmaid dress stores!

(BTW, I know I'm behind the scoop, but L U V the new header and background!)

Never heard of it, but it's a neat idea! There's some similar stores where you can rent big name designer bags for like a week too.

I have never heard of this before. Actually I just got an invite from someone today, but I deleted it because I didn't know what it was.

Maybe I'll rent a fab dress for my 30th birthday party!

I've always been tempted! Maybe a birthday or very special wedding will finally get to me to try it out. I've only heard good things around the blogosphere about it!
