Some of you might remember my guest bedroom post from a few months back- I was having issues deciding on colors, curtains, decor and on and on and on....
Well, my mind changed again at some point.
At least on the "color" of the walls....I remember in college I changed my major 4 times my freshman year simply because I was worried that I was choosing the wrong career path or I simply didn't like the classes I was taking. I finally ended up where I belonged- in the journalism building. But, damn, it took me forever.
Long story short- I MAY or MAY NOT have bought THIS fabulous pink and silver metallic wallpaper for an accent wall in the bedroom....
I know you must be thinking I'm nuts to stick up some sticky, bobo ass wallpaper, but I assure you-- this ain't yo mama's yellow and green 70s wallpaper-- a wallpapered accent wall is SO in these days ;-) Really. truly. And I think the look is straight-up GLAM and screams JENNY.
I've decided to keep the other complimenting colors in the room simple...I'm talking: grays, whites, pinks and MAYBE a few splashes of yellow.
I found the photo below online today- this is exactly what I pictured in my mind, and here it is! NOTE: JUST the way the walls look. None of that baby bullshit. haha!
I'm keeping the remaining three walls in the room a light grayish/silver.
Real life photo of the sample wallpaper and my new gray duvet from West Elm. The pink color, of course, isn't showing up true-to-life in this picture, but you're just going to have to trust me.
All I can think about is mirrored nightstands and vintage-glam decor right now- I cannot wait for the finished product!
Would you ever or have you wallpapered in your place??
I admit, I'm a wee bit scared. It's not exactly permanent, but quite the bitch to take off, I hear. Good thing I'm 98% sure I won't ever want it taken down...

i LOVE it!!!! mirrored wallpaper is too fab, and i adore the color combo too!
i love the look of it...BUT i HATE wallpaper just for the fact that I had to peel TONS off when we bought our house. i'm sure it was "in style" in 1990, but not now! ;)
do it !!!! its amazing love wall paper !!!
Wallpaper nowadays are getting more hip and modern. There are some that are very nice and made to look like fabric. I'd put it in a baby's room or something. Good choice on yours!
you will have to let me stay over so i can truly judge your sanity to pick that wallpaper.
I'm glad you're putting it on one wall. I think it is fabulous and will make the PERFECT accent.
Haha "baby bullshit" oh girl.
GEN- WHATEVER!!! You need to hush....but come for a visit!
I wish you all would trust my judgment. lol. My mom is the same way. I'll tell her how I want to decorate a room and she'll say, "Mmmm..I don't know about that." Once it's finished she'll just rave about how great it is. Not to toot my own horn- I'm just sayin'.
I swear it's going to look awesome- just you wait. ;-)
I love the look of that wallpaper! Go for it :)
I am loving wallpaper more and more every day. I love the look of the room you liked!
I know that will look awesome, especially judging from your inspiration photos.
I would totally do an accent wall or small room or bathroom in some funky, yet chic, wallpaper. Can't wait to see the finished project.

I love the wallpaper you got!
It's so funny because my hubby and I were talking last week about putting wallpaper on a wall in our bedroom. We got the idea from the hotel we stayed at in Miami...Similar pattern to your wallpaper just darker colors.
Can't wait to see the finished project photos.
Love it!
I really do love this!
Curious where you found that "inspiration" pic above?! Do you know? It looks just like a nursery of a good friend!!

omg you're a hoot. I love the inspiration photo. Do it! Wallpaper is not that hard to take off, according to the HGTV shows. You use fabric softener & water or something mundane and easy as that. Looking forward to seeing your handywork :-)
Old Hollywood Glam. Can't wait to see the final product. I'm anti-wallpaper due to a bad experience in our first home- 70s puke green, orange, silver wallpaper!
