I'm finally settled in, as much as I can be
here in Maryland, after spending a week in DC. I'll be he
re for the next two months and then in DC for 4 month
s. I think if I can just get through these 2 months I'll be happier.
I found the gym on post today--it's BIG and nice.
Some people would say they've been to better, but not me! My gyms back home were tiny. I can't wait to get out of the slump and kick my ass in the gym

Oh I'm SO glad you're getting settled into your new space and area. You're doing great! LOVE the pic at the Lincoln Memorial and i'm glad to see you chillin with other interns!! Where are they from? Any of them far from home, too?

I admire you so much for striking out on your own like this. Takes a lot of courage~good for you!
You can make that room your "home" for the next two months: fresh flowers from the grocery store, some candles, some photographs....maybe an inexpensive throw from Target....
