STRESSED= word of the weekend

So, I found out I got a job in Charleston on Thursday and IMMEDIATELY started planning. That's how I am. I need to have a plan and I need that plan to happen NOW. Stupid, stupid patience. Patience and I don't get along...

Anyway, this entire weekend has been spent with me hunched at the computer scouring Charleston for a place to live and hunting down people on Facebook trying to find a renter for my house. It's stressful.

Thankfully I have soooo many people who have been more than helpful in giving me advice on places to live in the Charleston area, but now I think I have too much advice. I have too much information. Too bogged down with the pros and cons of what everyone's opinion of a "good place to live" is. West Ashley? Mt. Pleasant? Downtown? I believe everyone when they say they all have their perks, but what do I want, is the big question....

And I have no idea....is the answer.

I've decided to take a spur of the moment road trip to the city I will soon call home. I'm going to try to take off work Friday and head up for the weekend and do some looking on my own. I have a list of a few places that caught my eye- and let's face it, trying to find a NICE, safe place to rent via the internet isn't all that productive, no matter HOW many photos they offer up.

On top of all of that, I have to figure out how to pay for movers. How to pay for deposit and first month's rent. Gheesh!! I can only hope that a family member can help me out, otherwise, you guys will be reading blogs from me as I'm sleeping in my cardboard box on the streets of Charleston...

Stressssss, I hate youuuuu.

I am SO EXCITED for you to get move and start your job in Charleston!
I totally understand having no patience and needing everything to work out RIGHT when I want it to! The same thing happened to use when my Hubs got a job across the state. I stressed like crazy to get everything worked out but in just a week and a half we signed a lease on our new place, got someone to take over the lease on our own place, and transferred my hubs school records. So it totally does workout :) Don't stress too much!

While I'm sure it's stressful, it's so exciting too! I am so happy for you, girl!!! I have a couple friends that live in Charleston and they just LOVE it. Such a pretty area of the country!

OMG so exciting!!!!! I can't wait to read more about this...Charleston is gorgeous!

But you're MOVING! To Charleston! That is so awesome! All of the stress will be worth it in the end :)

I am pretty sure it will all work out and highly doubt you'll be in a cardboard box! :)

Kick that stress to the curb!

Good luck with everything - it's a lot moving in general much less moving to a different state.
