Is that a freakin' WRINKLE??

I turned 27 this past October. I'm not old, nope. I don't feel old- and although it's kind of odd to think I was 17 only 10 years ago- I'm feeling pretty good. Ask me that in 3 years...I feel like my 30th could go either way on the "How Do You feel Spectrum?". It could be totally fun- with a big bash Jenny style or I could be sitting on my couch that weekend upset because I'm old and single and stupid. HAH! OK, yeah, THE later would never happen.

Anyway- when I was a wee lass, my Mom told me that Grandma used to say,"Once you hit your twenties, you need to start using an anti-age cream/good moisturizer." I don't remember much (lie) but this always stuck with me. So I listened. I bought different products throughout the years- anti-wrinkle stuff and moisturizers, etc. I think one was Oil Of Olay's something or other- I don't know. And I don't care- because this past year I tried the best stuff (for my skin) and I'm not turning back (unless someone buys me a face lift in 30 years).

I've mentioned it in passing before.
Behold, the beauty that is Dior's Capture Totale. $125
Right off the bat, let me make a disclaimer. This junk's on the expensive side, but there were too many pros than cons for me- so I finally took the leap (with a discount- go me) at Sephora and purchased a few months ago.

My first experience with this was via a small sample from Sephora- I immediately fell in love.

It feels SO luxurious on my skin- Seriously, when I put this on, there's not a SPECK of dryness. And even if you have oiler skin, it could be on the verge of making you feel like an oil slick, I think it's still worth it. I have combination skin, so it works well for me.

The smell is a bit perfumy and I like that. Nice smelling products make me want to use it more, but if you have sensitive skin/nose when it comes to perfumy scents, you DEFINITELY want to try a sample first and see. I'm not saying it's full of BAH-BLAM scent- just a nice hint.

I have a friend who says her mother swears by Dior's anti-aging products- and she looks GOOD. Damn good.

As far as improving my skin- it has. Oh, it has. I can tell a difference immediately just in the texture and appearance of my face when I put it on. It looks tighter and more refreshed. As far as helping out my (small) wrinkles- I'm not sure. I guess in 10 years if I still look like a 27-year-old, we'll know who to thank- my mama and Dior.

Just try it. You can buy a full size here, or look on ebay for a sample sizes.

Do any of you already use this?
If not, what kind of moisturizer/anti-aging cream do you use?

I try all different kinds of products. When I worked at the spa we used Guinot, which I love, but it's not in the budget right now. I'm currently using Biotherm at night, and a little ashamed to admit, but I'm using Garnier for daytime right now. But, eye cream I won't skip on (if you haven't started yet, I would suggest you start with a hydrating eye cream; your eye skin is much thinner than the rest of your face and shows age first), and I'm using Guinot Longue Vie eye care: http://www.guinotusa.com/products/skincare_detail.php?prod_id=527351&back=/products/skincare.php it is amazing!

Thanks for the rec chica! Me and my friend STacy have been talking about this a lot lately!!

I don't use anything. I know - scary! But i'm in the market for something anti-aging seeing that i'm 28 and not getting any younger!

I use Clinique's Nightime Ageless Cream for combination skin- and I also use White Tea from Bath and Body Works. I'm still using an old bottle and don't even know if they sell it anymore. But yes. I have STUPID wrinkles, and I'll be 27 in three months! We're not old, dangit.

Hey, girl! Email me at ksparham (at) gmail (dot) com and I'll tell you where I work. It's not a big CIA secret or anything like that. It's kind of lame. :) But I don't want the entire universe to know, if you know what I mean!

Ugh, man, this post reminded me that I'm getting older and should probably start using some anti-aging cream. THANKS. Haha. I may have to give this one a try!

And P.S. you look FANTASTIC! Don't worry about aging!

I use Fruictis or Oil of Olay skin products for wrinkles...because I'm cheap!! This stuff sounds DIVINE, but not sure I could bring myself to spring for it. OUCH.

I'm going to try upping my cardio from 30 minutes to 45 minutes and see if that brings me some results. Thanks for the suggestions and if you have any more, please send them my way!!

Your not old your my age !!! but I 'm also looking for wrinkles I just started washing my face for before I never cared !!!
love this cream I got a sample from Sephora !!!!
And mom always know best !!!

Hey Jenny! A "fill" is where they inject saline into your port, to make the band around your stomach smaller. Since I had my first one on Oct. 21st, there are definitely foods I can't eat now. They cause pain and nausea. Sometimes this means they've put too much fluid into the band (because technically I should be able to eat all foods, just small amount), but think it's just an adjustment. As I mentioned, I think things are getting a tiny bit looser. But it's helping with my weight loss as me just controlling my food on my own seems to be too difficult for me to handle :-( Oh, BTW I never meant to imply you NEEDED eye cream, you always look beautiful in your photos. I just believe in it!

I might just have to add this to my Xmas list!! Thanks for the tip :)
