It's chilly- bonfire? Yes, please...+ Christmas survey

Curently in Southeast Alabama, it's a chilly 50 degrees- and I love it! perfect! Ok, not quite "perfect" ideal weather, but I love chillier weather. It makes me happy I can wear skirts/dresses and cute tights and not get all freaking hot. I think my body gets hotter than anyone else's on earth.

Last night, the parents and their dog came and visited Brady and I at our house :-) We watched a few movies: "Christmas Vacation" ("Save the neck for me, Clark..."), a Christmas tradition, and "Inglorious Bastards," which I thought was pretty good! It was slow going at first, and me being tired at that point wasn't helping- It was great having them come over and spend some quality time.

I was itching to do something today and was then invited to a bonfire. Aren't bonfires just the best? I love them- so cozy and junk. haha I may go. It'll probably be all dudes, but I'm hoping to coax a girl friend of mine to go. Do you guys do bonfires in the fall/winter? In the South it's a big thing!

I found this cute Christmas-y survey and decided to pass some time. Y'all have a great Saturday!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Oh how easy gift bags can be - but wrapping paper is so sparkly and pretty.

2. Real tree or Artificial?
Real trees smell amazing, but I have fake ones for now- for convenience.

3. When do you put up the tree?
Usually the day after Thanksgiving or that weekend.

4. When do you take the tree down?
After the first of the year sometime.

5. Do you like eggnog?
I actually don't care for it too much - and I REALLY wish I liked it!

6. Favorite gift received as a child?
I always remember the Heart Family Barbie set I got (the one with Midge, her husband and two kids) and also my Little Tykes kitchen thing.

7. Do you have a nativity scene?
I actually don't. Not sure why, just haven't picked one up.

8. Hardest person to buy for?
My DAD! Omg, I struggle every single year to come up with good gifts.

9. Easiest person to buy for?
MYSELF - people (MY MOM) think I'm so hard to buy for and please- I promise I am NOT. I love surprises, and anything I receive is great to me.

10. Worst Christmas gift ever received?
haha Hard to say- my family (aunts, unlces, etc) has a hard time figuring out what people my age like.

11. Mail or e-mail Christmas card?
Don't you ever e-mail Christmas cards! EVER.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Whenever I can - usually when I have ideas of what I want to buy.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
Maybe once ;-) And I always recycle the bags I get gifts in.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
Anything - what a silly question! :-)

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree?
I prefer clear, but colorful trees are so much more fun!

17. Favorite Christmas song?
Well....I love Sarah McLachlan's song,"River" for the holidays, but actually Christmas song has to be,"O Holy Night" or something else I'm forgetting...This is why I never do surveys. I always think of something I like more, AFTER the fact.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
I'd rather stay home!! And have everyone come to ME.

19. Can you name Santa's reindeer?
I can. But I won't.

20. Do you have an Angel on top or a star?
Star, that's lopsided. LOL

Crimmus Eve, but it was always the DAY when I was little, of course.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year?
NOTHING! Well, maybe crazy creep shoppers, but that's about it.

LOL!! I'd have to think about that one....

i love bonfires! Not really a fan of my hair smelling like a burnt forest for the next two days, but other than that I love them.

Funny story about worst gifts received. My great aunt an uncle, like you said, don't really know what to buy people our age....two years ago for my brother's birthday, he opened up a box and there was a t-shirt inside. He held it up to see what was on it.....It was a plain white Hanes under shirt. Haha like the kind you get in a 3 pack at Walmart. Talk about a great gift ;-) haha we laugh about it every year.

Have fun at the bonfire!
