Unexpected Anthropologie discount- and Wishlisted- Part 2

First, I have to tell you all about my awesome Anthropologie order from yesterday. I decided that I needed to go ahead and buy The Wightwick Manor Dress in my size because it kept going out of stock- so like a hawk I watched until it finally came back in stock. I scurried to order- and the damn website wouldn't take my credit card. Ugh. So in a frenzy I called customer service to order because I KNEW my card was good. Sure enough it was good. The rep was having a hard time pinning down my account- she said I had several? Anyone know how that happens? My Anthro card is linked to my account online, so how is that possible to have multiple ones? I don't know. Anyway- I reminded her about Anthro's current promo, that I should get free shipping for ordering over $150 (I added a sale top in the mix with the dress) and she obliged.

Well, then she comes back and says, "Im giving you a discount." A discount!? Really! For what? I didn't ask- but I assumed it was because she was taking some time to find my correct "account." I didn't think it took her that long, but who am I to argue?? I looked at my invoice and sure enough, a $167 order turned into $138! SCORE! So, basically I got a free top out of the deal (the top I added was $30).

It's Friday for some of you- not me as I work a few hours Saturday- and I'm back with part 2 of some wishlisted items of yours truly.....

1. Black booties- I have a cute gray pair of booties that I adore but I find they don't mesh well with all outfits- I need a staple black bootie in my life and these fit the bill! They're from Nine West and resemble L.A.M.B.S. Tammy Bootie. What's sad is that these are $200 from Nine West and at one point the "Tammy's" were on ebay being sold for only $165- a STEAL for L.A.M.B. Grr. I missed out on Gwen's beautiful baby's, so if these ever hit sale I'm all over them. The biggest seller for me? The zipper on the heel. LOVE.

2. THIS specific Anthro cardigan- Uh. Britney's wearing it. That's enough for me, sadly. Love it. It's been on my wishlist for months now and it's on sale- I love how it's styled with the little dress and boots. I'm so trashy.

3. More perfume- Because my cluttered dresser doesn't have enough perfume bottles...*HA!* I'm just in love with perfumes, really. It's an obsession. I recently smelled Paco Rabanne's Lady Million and judging from the small paper sample alone- I loved it. The description on Sephora's site states:

"Vibrant and sensual, Lady Million is like a voluptuous nectar of flowers. Powerfully seductive, the sparkle of bitter orange and a hint of raspberry reveals the fragrance's first breath. Smooth and bright, a burst of neroli follows. Then the lethal weapon: heady orange blossom slips out of its sheath. Its narcotic sweetness then reveals itself, bewitching and demanding all attention. Joining with sambac jasmine and underlined by gardenia, the blend soars into something more carnal—yet ever subtle. Now the obsessive pulsing of patchouli enters the fray, pacifying notes of honey with an addictive and supremely tempting sweetness. Amber endnotes become all enveloping, floating around like a ray of light on a diamond."

Ok, who wouldn't fall in love with that description? I mean really- "heady orange blossom slips out of its sheath..." BAHA! Nice.

4. Dior's Addict Ultra Gloss in "Twin Set Pink" and "Negligee Pink"- I own another of this gloss and it's one of my favorites. It's super shiny and goes on smooth and it's a gloss that just truly "pops" among any others I've tried. These two colors I've had my eye on for awhile- I missed the Sephora F&F sale or else I would have snatched this up...So pretty.

Anyone else care to tell me what's on their recent wishlist? I'd love to hear!

Help me "Winterize"......

It's beginning to turn cool here (For now. It'll be back up in the 80s next week. Gah!) and I absolutely love the layered look, but it always ends up looking funny to me once I get everything on my body. The colors don't mesh well (they looked fine on so and so, however) or I just feel like a clown.

This is where you all come in. I want you to help me winterize these dresses- if that's possible. They are the same cut, shape, etc. Just different colors/pattern. I have some ideas, and I'm not an idiot. I know how to dress- but I love creeping into other's brains and seeing what they think is cute....So get started!! Leave a comment with links to the items you would pair with these or do a polyvore set. Come on. It's fun!

Random thoughts: Still in the process of getting my guest room put together. Remember the wallpaper I wanted to put up? The pink and metallic? I keep going back and forth on it. I'm not scared I won't like it, because I KNOW I will...I'm scared it;'s going to clash with something. What? I have no idea. I also need to get several other items for the room: BED (that might be important?), nightstands, lamps, ottoman coffee table (CSN has some cute ones!!), bookshelf....yikes. Hopefully one day before I decide to sell the house I'll have it completed. ;-)

CSN and my guestroom!

Just a quick blog for today, as I'm doing house work, cooking meals, etc for the upcoming week. Busy busy!

I'm sure a lot of you have heard of CSN by now- So many people in the blogging world are hosting CSN gift cards giveaways and doing reviews on products- I can see why! They have awesome stuff! I'm gathering items for my new lovely guest bedroom an, vanid I found that they had upholstered headboards and slipper chairs just like I envisioned in the room! YAY!!! At good prices, too!

I'm having difficulties picking a chair, though. I need your opinion. Imagine if you will:

Light bluish-gray walls
Gray Duvet and bedding
Accent colors of aqua/light blue and yellows

Now, these two chairs and these two color drapes I LOVE. But, which, IF ANY OF THEM, would look good with the gray bedding?? I have my opinion, but wanted external views. :-) I'm leaning more toward the ivory curtains and a pop of color from the slipper chair.
